Pogn (/poh-guhn/) is a word that expresses the feeling of ‘comfort and warmth beyond senses'.

We are Canadian Cashmere Sweater brand that honors the enduring warmth and bond between mothers and daughters. We believe that warmth is more than what you feel on your skin. It’s a feeling, one rooted in care, comfort, and love. Especially the kind of love a mother can give. 

We are a second-generation sweater-making family and currently based in Port Coquitlam, a quiet and cozy corner of Vancouver, BC, Canada. With over 40 years of experience behind us, our journey began with our mother, a woman whose hands have crafted sweaters for decades, even before we were even born. Her dedication, skill, and love for the craft inspired us, her daughter and son, to carry on that legacy. For the past 15 years, we’ve worked side by side, learning the art of creating high-quality sweaters from the inside out.

For us, our mother’s love continues to live within us every single day. It’s like an invisible strength that steadies me when life feels uncertain. Her care instilled in me a sense of dignity, resilience, and the belief that even in the hardest moments, I can face life with confidence.

Out of this foundation of experience and emotion, Pogn was born, a heartfelt extension of our family’s sweater manufacturing company. The word “Pogn” comes from the Korean word for comfort and warmth that goes beyond the senses, something felt deep in your core, like the embrace of a mother that gently lingers even when she’s not near. It’s more than just softness. It’s a sense of emotional connection, protection, and quiet strength.

Our brand was created to honor that feeling. To celebrate the special bond between mothers and daughters. To share that invisible, yet undeniable warmth with you, through every thread and every stitch.

Our cashmere sweaters are designed not just to be worn, but to be felt. We thoughtfully blend just the right amount of cashmere and wool to strike a delicate balance: luxurious yet durable, comforting yet refined. We believe everyone deserves to feel elevated and embraced, that’s why our sweaters are reasonably priced without ever compromising on quality.

Behind the scenes, we place deep emphasis on sourcing top-quality yarn and applying a meticulous weaving process. But what truly sets us apart is our commitment to the post-processing stage, which brings out the sweater’s ultimate potential "elevated softness”, that final touch that makes a Pogn sweater unmistakably comforting.

While this is our first year as a retail brand, it is built on decades of knowledge, countless hours of hands-on craftsmanship, and a deeply personal purpose. Through Pogn, we hope to bring our family's story, bring families together and discover the universal story of maternal love to life.
